Forbes 30 Under 30 Was Just Released

Forbes has returned once again this year with their annual 30 Under 30, which spotlights “600 young innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are challenging the conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation.” There are 30 honorees included in one of 20 categories, and the music category is full of some of the dopest chart-topping, mark-making acts from 2017.

Unsurprisingly, the list is topped by Cardi B. She became the first female rapper to top the charts without any other acts since 1998, and broke even more records by charting with her features on “Motor Sport” and “No Limit.” Playboy Carti is next on the list, who was on the cover of the Forbes 30 for 30 in 2016. The list also includes Khalid (who’s already earned a platinum plaque for his debut album), Lil Uzi Vert, Lizzo, and Migos who topped charts with “Bad & Boujee” and earn $150,000 per tour stop.

Others on the list are Travis Scott for his album “Birds In The Trap Sing Mcknight” being certified platinum, SZA for her now 2 platinum singles and her album CTRL, which reached number 3 on billboard charts, and Young Thug, who has released 18 mixtapes since 2011.

Congrats to everyone on the list for getting that shmoneyyyyy.
