BOSSIP: Is your mom still being a Bridezilla?

Candiace: “Sometimes she thinks this is her wedding, (but) she’s starting to calm down a little bit. I think seeing herself on TV, she’s like, ‘Oh, ok, maybe I am a little much!’”

BOSSIP: Do you have your dress picked out yet?

Candiace: “The dress is the highlight for me. It’s being custom made by a designer here in New York. It’s Karen Sebag, and she just got me. Because I’m a pageant girl, and you try on so many dresses, you wear so many gowns, I didn’t want a traditional a-line or mermaid silhouette, so we’re doing a ball gown. And from top to bottom, it’s perfect!”

BOSSIP: Will Charisse and Gizelle be getting an invite?

Candiace: “At this time, almost everyone is one the list – but it is up in the air…If I see or hear some things that I don’t like, I have no problem scratching people off and making room for others, or saving a coin.”

BOSSIP: You’ve gotten a lot of flack recently for talking about your white husband’s brown peen – do you think you overshared?

Candiace: “I don’t want people to feel like I shoved this down people’s throats…But it was more so that when I first started dating Chris, because he’s white, my friends would be like, ‘Oh he’s white, well what color is it?’ And it blew my mind because I never thought about that. It’s not, ‘Is he good to you? Does he buy you dinner? Is he sweet? Does he open the door?’ It’s like, ‘Why is this your first question?’ It would be my aunts, cousins, girlfriends, everybody. So I just started pre-empting conversations with, ‘I’m dating a man. His name is Chris, he’s white and no, he penis is not pink.’ That was just the conversation, and that’s where it came from. It’s not that I was volunteering that Chris has multicolored man parts. That was where it was borne from.”
