Kate Spade Was Depressed After Husband Asked For Divorce
Yesterday we reported that fashion designer Kate Spade had suddenly committed suicide under strange circumstances.
According to TMZ, Kate had become severely depressed over the last several months after her husband Andy had requested a divorce. He had moved out of the family home and was living in a nearby apartment, but Kate did not want to split up.
The suicide note that Kate left for her daughter seemingly confirms that she wanted to remain married to Andy:
“Bea – I have always loved you. This is not your fault. Ask Daddy!”
That’s pretty f***ed up. Imagine THAT being the last thing your mother said to you.
Kate and Andy had been married since 1994, no word about why Andy wan’t to divorce.
