Beyoncé And Jay-Z’s OTRII Concert Shuts Schools Down Early

We know the Stans will be in the building when Beyoncé and Jay-Z touchdown in Columbia, South Carolina at the end of August, but it sounds like some of those Stans are the teachers and administrators at six area schools.

According to ELLE, half a dozen schools will only be teaching the future leaders of America for a half day when the Carters come to town.

“The early dismissal schedule will help reduce the likelihood that buses with routes that go through or near that area will be delayed by the traffic,” noted a district rep in an email to students and parents.

Riiiiight. “Traffic”. Sure. Bet money Vice Principal such-and-such will be there doin’ the “Single Ladies” dance.

Meanwhile in Minnesota…

Governor Mark Drayton declared yesterday “Beyoncé And Jay-Z Day” across the entire state.
