LightSkinKeisha Talks To BOSSIP About Music, Love, And Atlanta

LightSkinKeisha is quick to tell us that she’s excelled as the center-of-attention for a vast majority of her 24-year life.

“The girl who y’all see in videos, that’s LightSkinKeisha even as a kid. I’ve always had a big personality, a big spirit, and I’ve been goofy every since I was a baby. My momma used to always tell me, ‘Girl, you used to be walking around in my wigs, heels, dressing myself up in her clothes or my sister’s clothes,’ I’ve just always been full of energy.”

Keisha’s early days as an All-Star recreational cheerleader at Central DeKalb in her hometown of Lithonia, right outside Atlanta, Georgia, helped mold her into the type of performer that was always ready for her close-up.

“All-Star cheerleading is a whole different type of ball game. You’re traveling, not only that, but you’re always on big stages in front of thousands of people and that’s what kind of made me become a competitor.
