Tech 9 Faced Child Porn And 9 Other Charges Before Mysterious Death
The hip hop community was mourning the death of well-known battle rapper Tech 9 last week, but now folks are finding it hard to feel remorse for him. News that Tech 9 faced over 10 counts of child-related assault charges have just been brought to light. XXL confirms these charges, after digging up documents from the First Judicial District of Philadelphia Court.

Tech 9, whose real name is Akhiym Mickens, was arrested on January 5, 2019, and charged unlawful sexual contact with a minor, corruption of minors, criminal indecent assault, physical harassment, indecent exposure, criminal use of communication facility, photograph/film/depict on computer sex act—knowingly depicts on computer, photo and child pornography.
His court arraignment for the charges was March 25th, the same day he was pronounced dead at the age of 32.
