Cardi B Celebrates Her First Mother’s Day With Surprise From Offset

After thinking she’d be spending her first Mother’s Day without her family, Cardi B got a big surprise.

Bardi recently told reporters at her Fashion Nova X Cardi B collection launch that she’d be busy onstage without her daughter and her husband on the holiday because of a scheduled performance.

“I’m very sad about Mother’s Day because I saw that I’m booked for Mother’s Day for a show and I had plans for Mother’s Day,” said Cardi who’s is set to perform at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina today. “I just hope South Carolina turns up for me because it’s like I’m going to spend my first Mother’s Day with them.”

Luckily for Bardi, her husband Offset swooped in with a grand gesture so she won’t be alone.

While Cardi was performing Saturday at Miami’s Rolling Loud music festival, Set showed up with their 10-month-old daughter Kulture in tow. He also gifted both of them for the holiday with matching Birkin bags. Cardi’s calling him “the best husband ever.”

Now that was sweet.

Last year Cardi was still pregnant on Mother’s Day so this is her first time celebrating post-pregnancy. Offset is equally excited to see Cardi, he posted a pic of him holding her copious cakes, captioned; “My Happy Place.”
