Fan Asks Zendaya Out On Date, Actress Lets Him Down Gently

Zendaya is an intelligent, accomplished, beautiful young woman so when folks start acting PARCHED in her presence… it’s not AT ALL surprising. But, one guy who asked her out at the ATX TV Festival had NO game.

There to talk about her new show Euphoria, in which she plays a drug addict, Zendaya was reportedly sitting on a panel when the interested suitor asked…”Did you literally inhale the good stuff? The weed?” according to Page Six.

The rest of their awkward interaction reportedly went as follows…

“No, I don’t do any of that, so it was definitely a foreign thing for me,” the 22-year-old answered before he asked her on a date to local ice cream shop Amy’s.

The “Spider-Man: Far From Home” star played it cool and responded, “Yo, if I had time I would, because I love ice cream and I appreciate that.”

The guy, who introduced himself to the crowd as Mikal, said, “Is that a no or a maybe?”

When she said, “We’ll see,” Mikal then offered for her to bring a plus one since she didn’t know him.

Zendaya laughed and told the audience, “We all going,” before the Q&A resumed.

For anyone else who isn’t clear, that was definitely a gentle NO… and can you blame her? Group ice cream after “Did you literally inhale the good stuff?” NAH.
