Cuba Gooding Speaks Out Against Charges Of Groping

Yesterday we reported that Cuba Gooding Jr. was preparing to turn himself into the NYPD after being accused of groping a woman at a nightclub.

Today, TMZ is reporting that Cuba might not be walking into the east coast police station. According to Cuba’s lawyer Mark Heller, the surveillance video from the venue proves that Cuba did not touch, grope, brush, or make any form of criminal contact with his accuser.

Heller has contacted the Sex Crimes Unit to ask if they’ve seen this video footage but has not gotten a response yet.

Based on this video, Heller says he’s not sure that Cuba will turn himself into the cops as they previously planned.

Cuba was caught at LAX saying that he “trusts the system” to clear his good name. No pun intended. The actor says all he did was “go to a club and take pictures”.

Not sure why a Black man has this much faith in “the system”, but ok…
