Exclusive: Tameka Foster Talks New Animated Series Inspired By Late Son, Public Perception & More
On Deciding To Do An Animated Series
My son Kyle was very animated. He was very funny. He had his own Youtube channel for like three years before he passed. I use to tell him, you better take those videos down before someone finds out where you live, or comes in the window and snatches my baby (laughs). But fortunately, he didn’t listen to me. He didn’t take all of them down. So he still has many videos on Youtube. He wanted to be on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon.
On Her Sons Being Part Of The Project
Actually Usher and I’s youngest son Navyid will be voicing Kile’s character in the series. [Kile and Navyid] have similar personalities. They’re both animated.
On What’s Up Next For Her
I still have my online boutique. I still have Cult De Jour, which specializes in making vintage military jackets.
But Tameka’s top priority now is to get the first episode of “The Odd Life Of Kile Lyles” complete; and you can help by donating using the link above.
