Tamera "Ty" Young Proposes Marriage And Puts A Ring On Mimi Faust

We’re super excited to see one of our favorite couples Ty Young and Mimi Faust announce they are newly engaged. The couple who have been regulars on “LHHATL” for the past few seasons, have been going strong for several years now (we count at least four) took to the gram to post the same image of Ty holding Mimi’s hand adorned with a beautiful diamond engagement ring on her ring finger and the words “She said YES,” with a smiley face, scrawled on the palm of Ty’s hand.

Their followers and fam flocked to the comments to wish Mimi and her WNBA baller boo Ty Young congratulations. One fan wrote, “Finally. Congratulations. You deserve nothing but happiness.”

Finally is right! Mimi’s road to love and happiness hasn’t been smooth at all. We’ve seen her endure so much heartbreak and disappointment in the past from longtime boyfriend and baby daddy, Stevie J and their messy love triangle with Joseline Hernandez. Things didn’t end well with Nikko London either.  We’re glad to see that things are finally looking up for Mimi and her solid union with Ty.

The photographer who took photos at the proposal and the event planner who helped Ty pull off the momentous occasion along with the jeweler who created the ring (Zales) were also tagged in the photo.

Looks like the hashtag for their nuptials will be #ForeverYoung. Ty revealed on instagram that she had been planning to pop the question to Mimi since August of last year telling fans:

“Timing is everything. I’ve been trying to surprise her since August 2019. From ring complications with the first designer and more; we’re finally HERE!!!

Mimi and Ty have been through so much together and it’s really clear they truly love one another. We couldn’t be happier for them as they take the next step in their journey together.
