Team Breezy Is Slacking: F.A.M.E. Took Three Weeks To Get Certified Gold
SMH, get on your album-buying-grind, Team Breezy!
It took almost full month for 21% of Chris Brown’s 2,500,000 plus Twitter followers to actually buy his album.
F.A.M.E., Brown’s fourth album, debuted at No. 1 with 271,000 copies sold. It has since earned gold certification from the R.I.A.A., meaning it shipped 500,000 units. In addition, the lead single “Look at Me Now” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes holds down the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Rhythmic and Urban Mainstream charts.
In celebration of his latest feat, Breezy is pushing his Michael Jackson- and SWV-sampled single “She Ain’t You,” which was the most added track at Urban Mainstream and will impact Rhythmic radio this week.
Good for Chris… but we’re still slightly disappointed in his fans for not showing more support after the man dedicated a whole album to y’all.
