Remember the Arizona Senator, Gabrielle Giffords who was shot in the head as part of an assassination attempt in January? Well, she’s on the road to recovery.
Giffords is primed to make her first public appearance since the incident, and she’s doing it to support her husband. Her husband, Mark Kelly, is going to be commanding the space shuttle Endeavour when it launches on Friday and Giffords will be there to show some love. Giffords is still on the long road to recovery and can speak in short sentences, write left-handed and stand on her own.
It’s pretty inspirational to think that just three months ago, she had such a short chance of surviving. Now, she’s about to go out and show off her man. That’s dedication.
