Those sneaky Knowles-Carters apparently enjoyed themselves an early getaway a week before BeyBey showed her baby bump to the world. The couple snuck off to Barbados by private jet for a week to stay in a private villa at The Sands, an exclusive property in St. James on the island’s west coast.

Here’s a lil more info about the property:

This elite gated community, the Sands, is located in Saint James. The Sands is an exclusive luxury compound adjacent to the wondrous Sandy Lane Beach and is made up of eight super-size luxury villas. The houses range from 8,000 to 9,500 square feet of living space in addition to private terraces and communal areas outdoors.

These opulent residences are magical throughout with vaulted ceilings, spiral staircases, marble floors, and the decorative touch of various internationally renowned interior decorators. Lucky residents of these deluxe single-family mansions also tap into all the amenities of the five-star Sandy Lane Hotel, including the Tom Fazio-designed Green Monkey championship golf course, year round.

The Sands is among the most elegant properties ever built in Barbados.

Sounds fancy… Who needs a suite when you can rent a whole 9,000 sq. ft. mansion?

Here’s some info:

This year’s best news for foodies is that Larry Rogers of ‘Olives’ and ‘La Terra’ is back on the West Coast! Larry and his wife Michelle have opened ‘Cin Cin’, a refreshingly contemporary, elegant new restaurant that offers ‘alfresco dining’ with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea. This trendy new hot spot features an air-conditioned lounge bar with an expansive glass wall allowing uninterupted views across the water. Larry serves his quintessentially Mediterranean-style cuisine with a Caribbean twist. As the name suggests Cin Cin is chic and fun…and Larry’s food is as good as ever.

This is the Cliff, the other restaurant where they reportedly visited.

Some Info:

In recent years, as chefs have found it easier to import ingredients from abroad, the Barbados food scene has taken off. Some claim the catalyst was the Cliff, which opened on a precipice in 1995 and raised the bar with such innovative combinations as Cajun salmon on a spicy eggplant salsa with Indian curry oil and minted cucumber relish

Bey and Hov elected to stay at The Sands, in an ultra-private villa, but they were able to use all the amenities at the nearby 5-star Sandy Lane hotel which is pictured above. One of those amenities is a Bentley, which at the guests disposal.

Also, since we weren’t able to show you the inside of The Sands, we went to the trouble of looking up some photos from Sandy Lane so you could get an idea of what their accomodations were probably like.

A five bedroom villa with an ocean view will run you nearly $12K for the week, but since Hov and Bey’s accomodations at The Sands were likely larger and more private they likely spent more… Must be nice!
