Blood Diamond Russ wants the world to know that he doesn’t need a court order to make sure that his ex and his little girls stay spoiled:

“I am reading these stories today about how a judge ordered me to pay Kimora $40,000 a month in child support and I want to make something very clear. Nothing was ordered, it was given. My kids have a fabulous life; they are exposed to a broad range of artistic and scholastic educational programs and I’m very happy to contribute to that. As long as I have it, they can have it. If I ever don’t have it, I’m coming to live with them!” -Russell Simmons

It is actually nice to see a father sharing his wealth and not just his seeds. Keep shelling out those dollars, Uncle Russ.

Peep our original story below.

Russell has to shell out 40K per month to Kimora so her, his daughters, and Djimon can try to survive in this harsh world:

Life in the fab lane just got a little more fab for Kimora Lee Simmons.

The 33-year-old ex-wife of Russell Simmons will receive $40,000 a month in child support from the hip-hop mogul, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled Thursday.
Kimora, who stars in the reality show “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane,” will have sole custody of their two daughters – 9-year-old Ming and 6-year-old Aoki.

She also will have final say on whether her daughters appear on her reality TV show. Her 51-year-old ex has visitation rights.

The couple’s divorce was finalized in January. She filed for divorce in March2008, citing irreconcilable differences.

Wowsers, that’s a lot of gosh darn money, man.  It ain’t nothing to a baller like Uncle Russ, though.
