Racist owners of Fossil's Last Stand restaurant in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania were kicked out of a Lyft driver's car for making racist comments in a viral video
Lyft and Uber have issued a ban against an angry passenger who attacked an Asian Uber driver over mask mandate this week. The suspect issued a statement via Instagram live defending her outrageous behavior.
Rather than treating the dedicated people who work for them like valuable members of society, Lyft and Uber are threatening to suspend their services in the state of California.
The authors of the study explain that while "demand and speed" have the highest correlation with how much a ride costs, their analysis shows multiple examples of varying forms of potential "social bias" when riders are picked up or dropped off in certain neighborhoods.
Following the initial argument over the mask, whether or not COVID-19 is real, and the route that the driver is taking, the rider then moves onto making fun of the driver’s accent and calling him some racial slurs.
