Nike settled the lawsuit with MSCHF over their Lil Nas X 'Satan Shoes.' The settlement will force MSCHF to recall all pairs of shoes they sold and buy them back at the original sales price, essentially taking them off the market and out of circulation.
After all the drama surrounding the Lil Nas X and MSCHF "Satan Shoes," Nike has decided to sue MSCHF after customers have threatened to boycott Nike who apparently had no involvement with the controversial release. Regardless, all 666 pairs of the "Satan Shoes" sold out in under a minute and are reselling for almost $10,000.
Nike has finally addressed Lil Nas X's "Satan Shoe" stating they have no connection to Lil Nas X, the shoes collaborative partners MSCHF, or anyone involved.
