Dallas Cowboys Cornerback Orlando Scandrick Buys New House In Hollywood Hills

As the old saying goes, “You can take the cowboy out of Hollywood, but you can’t take Hollywood out of the cowboy.”

Okay, so we might have paraphrased there, but in this case, a Cowboy actually is staying in Hollywood.

Kinda.

Orlando Scandrick, the Dallas Cowboys cornerback and former Boise State standout—after selling his home in Hollywood Hills last month—has found himself a new home in Woodland Hills. His agent, Lee Mintz, was doubtless instrumental in helping him get settled.

The house—on which he closed just a couple of weeks ago as reported by the Los Angeles Times—has five bedrooms and four full bathrooms, measuring in at about 5,000 on the square-footage ruler.

And Scandrick, currently in his seventh season with America’s Team, sure does love him some contemporary architecture, doesn’t he? It’s a single-story affair with an expansive open floor plan and all sorts of linear loveliness.

There are straight lines, bold angles, square tiles, and walls of glass everywhere: it’s a modernist’s dream.

The kitchen is fab and a treasure trove of geometric goodness, with ultra-contempo custom cabinetry—more linear allure right there—and lots of clean stainless steel, chef’s-grade appliances.
