Beautiful Textures kicked off the BET Experience Weekend with The Cut Life LIVE LA, a private event in celebration of The Cut Life’s two-year anniversary. A bevy of beauty enthusiasts gathered at the Jasmine Ashley Salon with co-founders Garmai K Momolu and Tahira Joy, and celebrity stylist Jasmine Ashley who executed two live cuts!
Celebrity stylists, China Upshaw from WE TV’s LA Hair, Felicia Leatherwood (Jill Scott, Ava Duvernay), Ray D. (Tamar Braxton, Sevyn, Adrienne Bailon), barber Vernon Scott (Maxell, Chrisette Michelle, Kanye West) and even celebrity short hair stunner Keisha Epps, of the R&B group Total, showed their support. Stylist Jasmine Ashley used Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming moisturizing shampoo and leave-in conditioner and Curl Definer mousse to create the perfect mold for both cuts she executed while conducting a Q&A.
Attendees enjoyed cocktails by Myx Fusions Moscato.
