Is Alexandra Shipp Dating James McAvoy?
A new super hero romance might be brewing between two characters from the forthcoming “X-Men Apocoalypse” film.
Alexandra Shipp a.k.a. Aaliyah from Lifetime’s biopic is playing Storm in the blockbuster…
ands she’s rumored to be booed up with her Professor X playing costar James McAvoy.
Oh word???
Screen heartthrob James McAvoy has grown close to his glamorous X-Men co-star after splitting from wife Anne-Marie Duff.
In the wake of the couple’s shock statement that their nine-year marriage was over, the Sunday Mirror can reveal his friendship with actress Alexandra Shipp.
Last week the pair were together at an X Men: Apocalypse party where McAvoy, 37, was seen being cosily tactile with American Alexandra, 24, who plays Storm in the hit fantasy franchise.
The two have become friendly in recent months while filming around the world.
We can also reveal McAvoy’s marriage has been on the rocks for some time, yet he and 45-year-old Shameless actress Anne-Marie have been staying together at the £1.5 million North London family home for the sake of their young son.
Our exclusive picture shows the couple looking tense outside the property on Thursday with McAvoy standing with his arms crossed before Anne-Marie cycled off. A day later they announced plans to divorce.
Our insider at Monday night’s cast party which followed the film’s launch said McAvoy and Alexandra obviously enjoyed each other’s company.
The source said: “It’s no great secret how they’ve got close. James has been quite open among the cast and crew that his marriage was over – and it seems he has struck up a friendship with Alex since then.
Hmmmmm….could there be some sweet swirly love on the horizon between these two???https://instagram.com/p/BDZBskhk-9q/?taken-by=alexandrashipppp
