The paps caught Rae Sremmurd rapper Slim Jxmmi with his pants down. Literally. The rapper left his limo on the side of the road in L.A. Tuesday because nature called. Jxmmi headed back to the car after peeing behind a tree.

Rae Sremmurd won the honors of being one of four cover stories for The Fader’s Summer Music issue. Check the details and a few excerpts below.
Naomi Zeichner, The FADERs editor-in-chief, spent time at home in California with Swae Lee, who turns 23 June 7, and Jxmmi, 24, as they prepared for the release of their sophomore album. Her story, featuring interviews with a dozen members of the Rae Sremmurd crew, explores the brothers early career in Mississippi and lasting success. It also previews SremmLife 2, which will feature Lil Jon and Juicy J.
Following their 2015 debut album, which produced five radio singles, Rae Sremmurd were accused of not writing their own music by radio personality Ebro Darden. Swae Lee and producer Mike WiLL Made-It, along with Darden, address that claim in this story.
On Rae Sremmurds ambition:
They knew they wanted to make commercial music. They were masterminds.
-former Rae Sremmurd member Bobo Swae
On writing the hook of Beyonces 2016 single Formation:
When I made that Beyoncé hook I was thinking nothing about it. I make a lot of songs, so Im just thinking that this is another song. A couple months later, Mike [WiLL Made-It] tells me that Beyoncé wants it. I couldnt imagine! I come in the studio and shes just like, a goddess or something. Just sitting there. This good aura. They played it for me and Im like, Its a new Beyoncé. She put her own twist on it. She has so much sauce on that song, it blew me away … She freaked it.
-Swae Lee
On allegations that Rae Sremmurd do not write their own songs:
Its such a false statement … Whered it come from? You pulled it out your ass. If you want to know who wrote my isht, go to my album credits.
-Swae Lee
I dont think Ebro understands what good is.
-Mike WiLL Made-It
On the brothers relationship:
We’re real brothers. We always get mad at each other. I like to see my brother doing good. Were like yin and yang. Im more on the wild side. I wanna go skydiving. Swaes scared hes gonna die.
-Jxmmi
On what Rae Sremmurds music means to their fans:
People who like Rae Sremmurd believe in having a good time with people … I want you to be able to turn it on and you can just nod your head and turn up. You aint gotta worry … Its a mutual feeling; we all wanna hear this isht. We all wanna feel like this at a party. We all wanna hear these words. We always wanted to do this.
-Swae Lee
We’re happy for the guys. They’re good people and make great music.
