Rose McGowen Compares Being A Woman To A “N-Word” In Tweet
It was a matter of time before one of these white women, airing out their Hollyweird sexual assault struggles slipped up and said something stupid. Enter Rose McGowen. The actress has been on a tweet storm since the news of Harvey Weinstein being a perpetual creep broke out. Welp, she decided to retweet and respond to James Corden’s jokes about Harvey Weinstein at the amfAR Gala over the weekend and things went white.
Straight out gate, host @JKCorden with Harvey Weinstein jokes. Too soon? Some laughs, some groans #amfARLosAngeles pic.twitter.com/nx88w5UwUe

“THIS IS RICH FAMOUS HOLLYWOOD WHITE MALE PRIVILEGE IN ACTION,” she wrote in the now-deleted post. “REPLACE THE WORD ‘WOMEN’ w/ the ‘N’ word. How does it feel?”
Umm, did she forget that Black women exist??? And why an N-word?
The irony is, she and others have been LOUD AF on line, using a black woman’s hashtag, #MeToo, to describe their sexual assault stories. C’mon Rose. The actress went on to “apologize”, only after receiving dozens of tweets from Black women, correcting her. And her ‘sorry’ came after a series of tweets about herself being her to “fight”. Then, she tried to put it off as being high…

Peep how folks called out her caucasian foolishness after the flip.
@rosemcgowan WE know exactly how it feels. Black Women face gender/race based violence like this everyday! You should take this down. https://t.co/xsIs4JoM81

Remember when white women got mad bc we wouldn't boycott twitter for Rose McGowan then ~24 hrs later Rose used twitter to erase black women?

All right. @rosemcgowan took down that tweet after I said something, but not after 10 Black women said something. This has happened before.

Rose McGowan has gotten high off her own supply and is showing you why black women didn't boycott on Friday. #solidarityisforwhitewomen

Just like white feminism. They dont see black women as women. They are the women, we are the blacks. That's how they can say stuff like this

Babe. I'm stoned right now, but that doesn't suddenly make me ignore the existence of black women. It was already a part of your mindset.

😂 at folks being surprised & upset at Rose Mcgowan's erasure of Black Women. The woman dated a known racist for years. She's equally yoked.
