Just when you think you’ve seen it all…
Mono Neon, a funk/soul musician who has a fan following for his viral social media music clips, recently latched on to a random moment from Cardi B’s Instagram feed and made magic. The moment in question comes from about a week ago, when Cardi took a moment to admire her newly acquired diamond jewelry and stunt a bit for her fans…Mono Neon took it and made it a funk jam.
Questlove is also a big fan of Mono Neon’s creative arrangements of casual conversation…so much so that he and The Roots even did a rendition of his “Gotdamb Shmoney” remix Cardi’s words during a transition break on the Jimmy Fallon show.
He does more than Cardi clips, of course…but these are just so freakin’ entertaining.
