Megan Thee Stallion is definitely someone who enjoys sex. She enjoys talking about it. She enjoys rapping about it. She enjoys getting the entire world riled up about her twerking, her talking and her escapades. We love it. She decided to enjoy her Easter Sunday by getting tipsy and talking about sex. She went on about how many rounds she needs to have a complete experience. Here’s what we learned:

– She makes every guy finish three times
– She needs four rounds to be satisfied
– She’s only dumped the men she’s dated
– She can’t stand a man who can’t last and who isn’t long and strong

Peep the video:

This had the entire internet going crazy with disbelief over the idea of *four* rounds. Four?

We have so many questions. What is a round for Meg? When does a round end? What is the count here? Are we talking four rounds in a morning? A day? A month?

Well, we did some digging and we have all sorts of information on average time, recovery, lengths of sex sessions and all kinds of things. Is four the norm? Hit the flip and find out.

An article in Women’s Health in 2015 had this to say: “Despite what you’ve seen in movies, the idea that you should be able to have sex three or four times within a few hours on a Saturday night probably isn’t realistic for most guys, says urologist Richard K. Lee, M.D., of Weill Cornell Medicine.

“He’s probably going to need at least an hour or two to become erect after ejaculating,” says Lee. Womp, womp.”

The article continued: “In fact, there’s no hard data on how long his refractory period should last. However, estimates range from 30 minutes to 24 hours, and it likely increases with age, according to a new review in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.”

A 2018 survey of 500 couples had an average time range from 33 seconds to 44 minutes. So if Meg is going by “rounds” then maybe she’s only talking about two minutes going by that first number. Heh.

The median range of sex time from that same survey was 5.4 minutes. That seems short, huh? Four rounds of that and we’re talking about an episode of Insecure. That’s pretty efficient.

At least men are evolving, maybe. Back in his 1948 studies, Alfred Kinsey “found that 75 percent of American men orgasmed within two minutes of commencing intercourse.”

Two. Minutes. Are we serious right now?

This isn’t all about men. Women have refractory periods too. Unlike men, their refractory periods aren’t really related to biology like released sperm Instead, it can relate to weariness from the time it takes or a general come down from such an intense moment.

“…most orgasmic women are capable of having multiple orgasms — but most women ≠ all women. (I’ve always loved what groundbreaking sex researcher Mary Jane Sherfey wrote in 1966: “The more orgasms she has, the more she can have — for all intents and purposes, the human female is sexually insatiable.”

Bustle wrote this article in 2017: “Research confirms that multiple orgasms are not as common for vagina-owners as we make them out to be. Only 47 percent of women in the 2015 OMGYES Study of Women’s Sexual Pleasure reported having them. Another study found that only 15 percent of women had multiple orgasms. (While more may be able to develop this ability with the right techniques, that’s true for those with penises, too.)”

Here’s what one couple said about “four rounds” in 2017: . “I think we went four rounds, but I didn’t get off every time. I also think I was super-dehydrated, which is probably why I couldn’t finish. We had to drink a lot of fluids and use a lot of lube. Still, it was lots of fun.” – Jared M.

One sexologist had this to say: “In a young man in his late teens or early 20s, the refractory period can be as short as two-five minutes. But as men age, the refractory period lengthens. In one’s late 20s, the period maybe 15-30 minutes between orgasms. In one’s 40s, the period is even longer and may be as long three to four hours.

No drugs have been approved to shorten the refractory period, but research has shown that Viagra, Cialis or Levitra – drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction – may reduce recovery time. Some people also purchase over the counter medication from a pharmacy, e.g. Oto (chao jimengnam).”

But really it’s about running your own race: “I get weary when people talk about averages,” she said. In her experience, many people seem to misunderstand sex rounds or think there is an average to aspire to.

“Sex is not competition. The question each person should ask is, am I satisfied with my own performance or do I expect more of myself?”
