Judge Orders Carl Crawford To Stay Away From Ex-GF After Alleged Assault

The woman said that every time Crawford didn’t get the response he wanted, he’d squeeze her neck tighter until things started to get blurry and dark. Then, the woman’s one-year-old daughter came up to her and this momentarily distracted Crawford, and she broke free and ran to the apartment’s management office, where she called the cops.

Crawford fled, but left the gun behind, and cops later retrieved the weapon.

However, the alleged victim said Crawford then began texting her threatening messages accusing her of sleeping with the male friend and said he’d paid someone to get the man’s address.

“If ur calling the police let me know so I can come back,” read one from Crawford, according to police. “Oh I beat you now?” “Nah, that wasn’t a beating u just mad I made u confess.”

The mom later said that her throat felt like it had a hole in it after the assault, and police noticed abrasions on her neck and hand.

He was charged with felony assault of a family member – impeding breathing.

Crawford, the CEO of 1501 Entertainment, is also in the middle of a messy lawsuit with rising rap starlet Megan Thee Stallion. Meg sued Crawford and 1501 back in March for fraud, alleging that the company coerced her into signing an “unconscionable” contract. That case is ongoing.
