The episode features Tranese & Mo, and unpacks how mother wounds from childhood can have profound impacts in adulthood. Tranese is confronting an estranged relationship with her mother, while following her heart and proposing to her girlfriend, Mo. Tranese and Mo have only been together for 6 months, but Tranese is ready to make Mo her wife. After such a short time as a couple, will Mo be ready to get married now? Tranese also hopes to resolve issues with her mother so that her mother will be part of her big day. Mo thinks she is on a show to promote Tranese as the vice president of a car club they are very involved in. Check out some key moments from the episode below:
Six months is definitely a short amount of time to be dating before marriage but some people feel it’s appropriate for an engagement. Do you think this couple has been tested enough at this early stage to know that they will be successful in the long haul?

On this episode of ‘Marry Me Now,’ Tranese is hoping to work out past conflicts with her mom so that her mother can be part of her big day. In the exclusive clip below, relationship coach Rebecca Lynn Pope meets with Tranese and Mo’s mom to help prepare Tranese for her meet-up with her mom.
“Miss Felicia,” Rebecca tells Mo’s mom, “Tranese has been getting me up to speed about your families and her mother isn’t necessarily the most supportive of her and Mo’s relationship.”
“What her mom gotta deal with is on her mom, but I’m totally different,” Felicia says. “I’m an open person, because everybody love who they wanna love.”
“Tranese is going to meet with her mother later today, do you have any advice for her?” Rebecca asks.
“Ignore the negative, think positive, no matter what, this is your day,” Felicia tells Tranese. “Whether she agrees or be there for you, just keep your head up and say I still love her no matter what, that’s my mom, she gave birth to me.”
“So if she can’t support, we’re just going to keep moving,” Rebecca assures Tranese. “And what I see between the two of you is a second mom.”
“One that’s going to love you in spite of,” Felicia adds.

We love what Mo’s mom had to say:
“We can’t pick and choose who we fall in love with. Why would I be mad at my child if this is what makes her happy?”
Imagine if more parents acted like this!

Have you been watching ‘Marry Me Now’? The show follows eight women from Houston, TX, who are in long-term relationships, but are ready to stop waiting for their significant other. Each week, Rebecca guides one woman as she takes the reins in her relationship, secretly constructing all of the elements for a surprise wedding and culminating with a surprise public proposal to her significant other. All this in just three days. From finding the perfect dress, to breaking the news to both families, the bride-to-be concludes by ultimately shocking her partner with the proposal, and (hopefully) exchanging vows. Whether or not they make it down the aisle, these women will finally get the clarity they need to move forward and live happily ever after.
‘Marry Me Now’ Episode: Tranese & Mo airs Saturday, April 30 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT)
