Tyrese's Ex-Wife Samantha Lee Expresses Divorce Regrets

According to Samantha Lee who wed the singer after 6 months of dating, a Tyrese reconciliation is NOT out of the question.

“It’s my daughter’s father so I would say this,” began Lee. “If we were both going to show up and we were both going to fight for it equally and sacrifice equally, like you know things that I needed and you know things that he knows he needed, I wasn’t perfect. If we were both willing to fight and we were both willing to do certain things, then yes…no one wants a broken family.”

“If we were both sacrificing—there were things I asked for—whatever he came up with that I needed to work on. If we were both willing to work, then yeah,” she added.

 

At one point, Lee got emotional about the effect that divorce would have on their daughter, Soraya.

“I think it was harder for me because I made that decision,” said Lee who noted that he has a strong relationship with her dad and stepdad, she wanted her daughter to have a relationship like that with her dad, Tyrese.

“It’s hard, I would love for us to come to a place of peace for sure. I’m not a victim, I’m just hurting that I made a decision that does affect her. If you’re highly emotinal and you’re all over the place, even the bible tells us not to do that, there’s a way to go about it. I don’t think we think enough about it, were’s so mad, we’re so angry, we’re not thinkking about how it affects the kids that are involved.”

Samantha Lee considering reconciling with Tyrese might be music to the artist’s ears.

Despite his alleging that his ex blindsided him by filing for divorce, he previously said he wanted to fight for their marriage and called himself her “forever husband.” 

In August however, he blasted Lee in a song titled “Love Transaction” and alleged that their union was a “joke” to his wife while alluding to her requesting $20K in child support for herself and not for their child.

“$20,000 isn’t child support, we both know just who that money’s for,” sang Tyrese.

In a recent IG post, the 44-year-old crooner noted that March of 2024 will mark three years of him being in a relationship with Zelie Timothy who’s been by his side throughout his divorce proceedings.

“I love you for staying by my side as I am still going through this divorce that has now unnecessarily tuned into 3 years!!” wrote the “Sweet Lady” singer to shade Samantha Lee. “A pre-nup is an understanding that’s in place prior to [ pre ] you exchange vows…..But it’s very clear that it was never love it was just a transaction!!!!

So far Tyrese has yet to speak on his ex-wife’s reconciliation revelation, but we’re almost certain that he’ll speak out soon.
