So Eagles coach Andy Reid had to swallow his words when he said Kevin Kolb would be the starting quarterback again for Sunday’s game. Michael Vick is ready to say hello world once again as the starting quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles. Vick, who came in for Kolb after he suffered a concussion in the first game of the season, proved to be the man for the job!

Vick is set to be the shot-caller for the Eagles for the immediate future. Dude has gone from pariah to finally getting what he has wanted since his release from the pen: to be a starting quarterback in the NFL again.

Andy Reid is eating that humble pie with a tall glass of soy milk right about now.

“Michael Vick is playing out of his mind right now,” Reid said. “What a lucky franchise and a lucky head coach I am to have two quarterbacks that I feel that way about. It’s unbelievable.”

Vick has been ballin’ and has won the respect of his locker room. Now can he continue his high intensity play? That will be answered this Sunday when the Eagles take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Say what you want about Vick, but he has proven that given a second chance, positive things can come out of an unfortunate situation.
