Ameriie Brings Her Bleachy Blonde Look To “Roots Of Nature” Event
Ameriie brought her bleached up blonde ‘do to this weekend’s SoftSheen-Carson Roots of Nature “Picture of Strength” event in Chicago, hosted by Niecy Nash.
Ironic since “Ameriie” definitely didn’t come by her look naturally, and the bleach it takes to get that blonde actually weakens fragile hair.
Ameriie says she was inspired by the kids of the Solomon Islands, but you would think that as someone who has probably been “exoticized” by folks her whole life for her Korean roots, we gotta say that seems real SIMPLE!
But on a more positive note, the event offered Chicago residents the chance for a free family portrait, hair styling, mini makeovers and product giveaways.
Ameriie also performed and the event was graced by an appearance from celebrity hairstylist Johnny Wright.
