Kelly chats about her violent past as well as what swirly married Hollyweird man is on her chop down list…

Kelly Rowland Opens Up About Abusive Relationship

Kelly Rowland is a survivor and fighter! The singer recently stopped by Philly’s Hot 107.9 to chat about being the inspiration behind Destiny’s Child songs “Girl” and “Bad Habit” as well as her celebrity crush and favorite rapper in the game…

Whether or not “Girl” was written about her:

Yes. I love that song too, and it’s so funny because I don’t know how people connect dots with music and artists that they have followed for so long, but when I that on Twitter people were starting to put all pieces to the puzzle together, it was so interesting. They did it with ‘Girl’, they did it with ‘Bad Habit’, they did it with so many songs on that album, and I was like, ‘Okay, that’s crazy.’

On getting depressed when she hears lyrics from “Girl:”

Of course I did, the girls wrote it for me. Destiny’s Child is deeper than what people see on the surface. Those are my homies for life. ‘Golden Girls’, we stuck with each other… period.

On her ex-fiance, Roy Williams, making a comment about Dirty Laundry:

Hit the flip to read the rest of the interview as Kelly dishes on what married celebrity she would like to smash to smithereens!

Kelly talks about which celeb she would smash:

He’s taken and I completely respect his wife… if he’s married. Jessie Williams from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. He’s just gorgeous, it makes no sense how beautiful this man is. I saw him at Super Bowl, and I refused to stare. It’s almost like you’re looking at a work of art. He’s such a man like in the way he talks, and the way he acts, it’s just really interesting.

Her favorite MC:

Kendrick Lamar. I love how witty he is, and how he thinks of things off the cuff. He’s very socially conscious. He puts things that are happening, things that are current events… the way he thinks about stuff and puts it all together in a song, he’s just very smart, very intelligent… I like him a lot.
