Shayla Stevens, the former NFL Falcons cheerleader was called to the witness stand to provide testimony about her encounter with rapper Da Brat during a October 2007 Halloween party in which the rapper struck her in the head with a rum bottle. Attorneys Mark Link and Eric Hertz are representing plaintiff Stevens. Reported by Dennis Byron

On Thursday, February 27th, a Cobb County, Georgia jury awarded ex-NFL cheerleader and aspiring actress Shaya Stevens 6.4 million dollars in civil damages as a result of the assault that occurred on October 2007.
