Funny is as funny does, and so it shall be that Eddie Murphy play the role of his idol, Richard Pryor, in an upcoming movie:

The first time Eddie Murphy worked with writer-director Bill Condon he earned a nomination for best supporting actor at the Oscars. That was for playing a fictionalized version of singer James Brown in “Dreamgirls” back in 2006 (he lost to Alan Arkin, “Little Miss Sunshine”). Melanie Brown has set a court date of November 14 of this year to make sure Eddie Murphy’s deadbeat ass takes care of little Angel Iris Murphy Brown. We all know that Eddie’s financial situation is more than enough to assist in taking care of this baby. He needs to man up and provide for his child. ET has learned that EDDIE MURPHY and his girlfriend of 10 months, TRACEY EDMONDS, are engaged! According to OK! magazine, the 46-year-old ‘Dreamgirls’ and ‘Shrek the Third’ star proposed on July 25 with a “massive,” roughly 8-carat CARTIER yellow diamond engagement ring.

A friend of the couple says, “They’re very adorable together, very happy,” adding that they plan to tie the knot before the end of the year with a private wedding: “something low-key and romantic.”

You have to respect her career game. Who gives a f*ck about a degree, she got her BA from Face and a Master’s with Eddie. This is perfect for her career in Hollyweird.

She probably doesn’t even believe Eddie was really being ‘friendly’ and giving a tranny a ride home. Fu*kin for movie deals?

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds quietly split up almost three weeks ago. It happened before DNA proved that Melanie Brown’s baby was Eddie’s. Their biggest problem, besides the fact that Eddie is very controlling, was that they have separate social lives. Eddie likes to socialize with HIS friends and Tracey wanted to socialize with HERS. In order to keep both sets of friends happy, they started going out separately sometimes. But when Eddie goes out, everybody notices and Tracey would hear or read things that made her wonder. And Eddie didn’t trust Tracey out by herself. Suspicions arose and arguments ensued. Tracey’s feared Eddie wanted to run her life. (He can’t be the EASIEST guy to date!) She ‘d been staying at his house, so Tracey packed up her things and moved. For now, it’s over.

The career-minded Tracey just did a Babyface on Eddie, use him and leave him. I wonder how many people in Hollyweird Tracey met while attending all those events with Eddie Murphy?
