The lawsuit explains that per the county law, they have the right to seize the car that Meeka was driving when she committed the crime due to it contributing to the offense. They state that if the car isn’t handed over than they want a judgment against Meeka in the amount of $17,975 – which is the Kelly Blue Book value of the car plus $1,500 in other fees.

Interesting to note, the arrest took place one month before Meeka announced her divorce from Speedy following 8 years of marriage.

Then on January 19th a New York judge came back with his decision in the case and sided with Nassau County. The judge ordered Meeka to surrender the 2008 Range Rover within 14 days of the order.

According to the order, Meeka is to arrange a time with the Nassau County Police Department for her to hand over the keys to the vehicle. However, the judge notes if she does not turn over the Range Rover then she will be hit with a judgment in the amount of the value of the car.

Meeka never responded to the lawsuit, or to BOSSIP’s request for comment Friday.
