Ne-Yo, Monyetta Shaw And Crystal Renay Celebrate Mason And Madelyn’s Birthday
Ne-Yo, Monyetta Shaw and Crystal Renay recently had a beautiful blended family birthday party for their “Irish twins.”
Ne-Yo and Monyetta’s children Madeline and Mason were treated to a joint b-day party this week in Atlanta…
and their bonus mom Crystal Renay was in attendance.

According to US Weekly, the family affair was a success and attended by various local celebs including Keshia Knight Pulliam, Kandi and Phaedra Parks. Ne-Yo also told the mag that there was “no shade” thrown between the grown-ups in attendance.
The “Coming With You” singer, 37, and the Atlanta Exes alum, 36, celebrated with family members and close friends including Keshia Knight Pulliam, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks, while Madilyn and Mason enjoyed private bowling, laser tag and arcade games with their friends from school. (Madilyn turns 6 on November 12, and Mason turned 5 on October 9.)
“The party was a success because our kids had a great time,” Ne-Yo tells Us. “That’s what it’s all about. No beef, no bad blood, no shade … we are grown. This is what it looks like when grown-ups act like adults.”
Isn’t that sweet?
Ne-Yo also gave Monyetta and Crystal props for being “real moms” and showing maturity.
“I just want to say…It takes levels of maturity that a lot of people just don’t have nowadays to get to this place,” said Ne-Yo. “I’m grateful, overjoyed but above all PROUD of these beautiful women for displaying exactly that maturity. @itscrystalsmith @monyettashaw THANK YOU BOTH for the mother’s you are, for the women you are. I am truly blessed to have a FAMILY this beautiful. I can’t say it enough.”
