Funnywoman Tiffany Haddish recently revealed some very serious news about her personal life. The comedienne/“Last Black Unicorn” author’s released an excerpt from her tome to E! and in it, she recalls a time when she suffered abuse at the hands of her now ex-husband.
According to Tiffany at one point her husband went ballistic after seeing her talking to comedian Tom Greene and snatched her by her shirt in public before slamming her into a wall.
“He grabbed me by the collar, he was like, ‘It’s time to go to the room now,’ in front of everybody,” she wrote. “Just snatched me by my shirt, and pulled me to the elevator and threw me in it…once we got to our hotel room, he was so quick. He snatched me by the neck and slammed me into the wall.”
Tiffany also added that during a physical altercation with her husband, who she actually married and divorced twice, she suffered a miscarriage. The comedienne was unaware that she was pregnant.
She said things got bad between them that at one point, she went to a police station, which was closed, then called the police and said, ‘Ya’ll need to lock me up, because I’m about to kill my husband.’ She said officers came out and saw the bruises, cuts and scrapes on her body and called an ambulance for her.
