Exclusive: Flo Rida Tries To Get Baby Mama’s $8K A Month Child Support Suit Tossed
Feltcher said Adams was pleading poverty despite she herself admitting to earning $100,000 a year in cash and hadn’t filed a tax return for last year. She is not currently working and cares for their son full time.
“Ms. Adams is savvy,” Felcher said. “She is smart. She didn’t enter into this relationship blindly.”
Flo Rida’s lawyer also questioned whether she had other reasons for getting with the rapper and said her petition to the judge for an increase on her $8,000 a month in child support appeared to be little more than a money grab.
“Would a nanny be needed?” Felcher asked. “Would she need a $5,000 apartment? Would you have upped the support from $5,000 to $8,000?”
Giordano criticized Flo Rida for squabbling with Adams over what amounts to chump change for him, and reiterated Adams’ claim that Flo Rida had referred to their son as a “devil child.”
“You could call the petitioner a gold digger,” he said, “call his child a devil child, but the DNA doesn’t lie.”
Giordano added: “He’s arguing over $500 a month, which he spends in a night at the strip club!”
