Candace Owens Attends Congressional Hearing On White Nationalism

Another day, another comment from Aveeno allergic Candace Owens. Y’alls sunken sister made an appearance in front of Congress today (really?) for a House hearing on white nationalism.

According to Candace who was called by GOP lawmakers to speak on white nationalism and hate speech, it’s all a myth and the Democrats are too busy focusing on “fear-mongering, power, and control” with a goal to scare people into voting for the left.

“We’re hearing [terms like ‘white nationalism’] sent around today because what they want to say is that brown people want to be scared, which seems to be the narrative that we hear every four years ahead of a presidential election,” said Candace.

“The hearing today is not about white nationalism or hate crimes, it’s about fear-mongering, power, and control. The goal here is to scare blacks, Hispanics, gays, and Muslims, helping [Democrats] censor dissenting opinions … helping them regain control.

“White supremacy, racism, white nationalism, words that once held real meaning, have now become nothing more than election strategies.”

SIGH.

And while Candace who brought her 74-year-old grandad along for the ride drowned on and on, things got especially interesting when Representative Ted Lieu of California played a clip of Candace speaking about Adolf Hitler. As previously reported Candace said;

“If Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, OK, fine,” said Candace in response to an audience question at a British Turning Point conference about nationalism. “The problem is that he wanted—-he had dreams outside of Germany. He wanted to globalize.”

and as Lieu played the clip and wondered why the GOP would bring her before Congress, Candace was seen fuming.

LOOK. AT. HER. FACE.

Now, let’s be fair. Candace hit a backwards moonwalk on those comments and said she actually meant to point out that Hitler is a “mass murderer”, not a nationalist (as though both can’t be true).

“Nationalism is sort of conflated with, for some reason, Hitler,” she said. “That’s really, really wrong and we that we have to almost correct the record on that,” she added. “He wasn’t a nationalist. He was a homicidal, psychotic maniac,” she said of the German dictator.

Sure thing, sis.

Are you EVEN surprised by Candace’s latest comments???

Candace didn’t appreciate Rep Lieu’s comments.

At one point Candace also called “the southern strategy” a myth. The southern strategy which has been documented was launched to increase political support among white voters in the South by appealing to racism—but Candace says it never happened.
She’s sticking by that.

Fortunately for us, the ELITE Ava Duvernay had the perfect response to Candace’s claim and she dropped a gem for her 13th documentary, an audio clip of Ronald Reagan’s campaign strategist discussing the southern strategy.

Nicely done Ava.

Candace said a number of other problematic things like that The Ku Klux Klan was a “phenomenon of the left.”

Our iOne family over at NewsOne has a great list dismantling just about everything Candace said.
