Josephine Baker and Clara Smith – Josephine Baker is one of the most famous Black lesbians ever. She had long relationships with at least six different women. One such woman was Clara Smith, a famous jazz singer. They were quite the power couple back in the day, too. Both of these women stand as Black queer icons.
