Even though a lot of us can’t be with our moms today, the Mother’s Day festivities are still in full-swing via social media. The current state of the world really gets you thinking about all the things you have to be thankful for, and a loving mother is at the top of that list for all of us lucky enough to have that in our life.

All of the celebrities we know and love took to social media the second the clock struck midnight, both thanking their own moms or thanking their kids for making them mothers, themselves. Peep some of the most thoughtful, heartwarming, and just downright sweet messages getting us all teary-eyed this Mother’s Day:

Lauren London posted a photo of both of her babies, thanking them for keeping her going during such a hard time in her life.

“The absolute Honor of being their Mother. This Love has saved me,” she wrote. “Peace to all the mommas. Happy Mother’s Day”

Kehlani is always very open about how much she loves being a momma to her little one, Adeya, so it’s no surprise that she was ready to reflect once Mother’s Day rolled around.

“If i had to choose to do 1 single thing for the rest of my life and only 1, it’d undoubtedly would be to be a Mama over anything else,” Kehlani wrote in her caption. “Thank you my sweet love for choosing me, and to my future kids, your mom is prettyyyy epic if i can say so myself.”

Hit the flip to see some more mommies celebrating their babies, celebs celebrating their mamas, and everything in between:

Teen Mom star Cheyenne Floyd also posted about her adorable daughter, sharing a letter she wrote for Ryder in the hopes that she can read it in the future.

“It’s still so surreal that I am a mother,” she writes in the middle of her letter. “I watch you grow, laugh, run, dance, sing, twirl and I love every second of it. I thank God for every moment, for your health, your personality, and how extremely blessed we are. You are now at the age that we pray together and listening to you pray is so pure and loving. You have no idea how much I truly enjoy it. ”

The day I found out I was pregnant I started to write Ryder letters. It was therapeutic for myself and I wanted her to be able to look to them for answers. At the time I would pour my heart out – I really put my thoughts & my emotions into these letters. I knew she would have so many questions and I pray the letters will help her understand my mindset, decisions, and strength. To this day I have continued to write Ryder letters ✍🏾 Here’s a peek of her Mother’s Day letter. —— Dear Ryder I’m watching you sleep, which is one of my favorite things to do. It never gets old. You look so peaceful, content, and I love when I move just a little and you wiggle right back up under me. Any moment you are going to wake up and tell me the sun is up.. then we will quietly wait to hear if Baaz is up, then the day begins. Today is Mother’s Day, May 10, 2020. It’s still so surreal that I am a mother. I watch you grow, laugh, run, dance, sing, twirl and I love every second of it. I thank God for every moment, for your health, your personality, and how extremely blessed we are. You are now at the age that we pray together and listening to you pray is so pure and loving. You have no idea how much I truly enjoy it. Your favorite thing to do right now is a pinky promise and we kiss our thumbs to seal the deal. Today all I want to do is smother you with my love. You gave my life true meaning, purpose, and so much joy. There is no way I could ever put down in words how much I love you. Loving you is a feeling that words will never be good enough to describe. I pinky promise I will advocate for you, protect you, love you, and be forever grateful that you picked me to be your mommy. ❤️

Kristin Cavallari, who just announced her divorce from husband Jay Cutler last month, shared a picture with all three of their kids–whom she notoriously keeps very private, choosing not to show their faces on social media.

“Everything made sense once I become a mom to these 3. Being their mom is the greatest gift. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there”

It’s not only the mamas out there celebrating their kids on Mother’s Day, either. A lot of celebrities are saluting their wives and moms for all the hard work they do year round.

Avengers stars Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. celebrated the mothers of their children, with the Thor actor also paying tribute to his own mother.

Anderson .Paak let his queen know that he’s thankful for everything she does, especially all the work she puts into raising their children.

“Happy #MothersDay babe!” the musician wrote. “Thank you for all the sacrifices, hard work, dedication and unconditional love only a mother could provide!”

Lex’s mommy and Joe’s former fiancée, Cyn Santana, also posted about their baby boy on Instagram, picking an old photo from when she still had a bun in the oven.

She used her caption to wish all the other moms around the world a special day, writing, “To the Mothers that birth, the Mothers that raise and to my angel Mommies, today I think of you! Happy Mother’s Day!!! You are so special. Incomparable. Divine. Truly a gem. Love”
