Wendy Osefo Reacts To Karen Huger's RHOP Shade

Last night’s #RHOP premiere included the introduction of a new housewife, Dr. Wendy Osefo who unfortunately didn’t get a completely warm welcome. As previously reported Dr. Wendy is a Johns Hopkins professor who Candiace Dillard dubbed “black girl magic” personified.

The proud Nigerian mom and wife attended Candiace’s “Diamonds and Denim” themed anniversary party and quickly clicked with Monique Samuels on mommyhood and Monique’s 35% Nigerian heritage.

Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly considering this is a reality TV show, not everyone was excited to see Wendy. Grand Dame Karen Huger threw shade at Wendy via her confessional where she said she’d met Wendy several times and was “unimpressed.”

Wendy caught wind of the shade and reacted to a fan on Twitter who noted that despite her being “unimpressed” Karen ran up to Wendy to speak with her.

She DID saunter over to Dr. Wendy pretty quickly for someone who’s allegedly “unimpressed.”

After the show, fellow housewife Gizelle Bryant reacted to Karen Huger’s shade on “Watch What Happens Live.” According to Gizelle who was a guest on the show alongside KeKe Palmer, Karen’s clearly intimidated by Dr. Wendy, meanwhile, Gizelle thinks the professor is a great addition to the cast.

According to Karen, that’s simply untrue and Gizelle is “reaching.”

Some of the other ladies also shared their thoughts on season 5, hit the flip for that.

Candiace whose cash bar at her anniversary party raised eyebrows, wrote a lengthy note on IG about her time on Real Housewives of Potomac and how it caused a “significant mental health shift” in her life.

According to Candiace, people’s lack of integrity surprised her and shook her to her core.

“It can damn near take you out. It almost got me,” wrote Candiace.

“When you know who you are and the enemy uses dark people to challenge your light, the internal war that ensues within can be cataclysmic. It can damn near take you out. It almost got me.

You think you know who you are until the enemy tries to shake you beyond recognition. You think you know who you are until God pulls a fast one and introduces you to resilience you NEVER thought belonged to you.

This particular photo is special to me which is why I chose to debut it last in my countdown. You see, I didn’t plan to pose tastefully nude on the day of this shoot. It just happened that way. I didn’t know it then but this would become and piercing representation of what I have been through: stripped naked at the hands of the enemy who meant to destroy….And yet somehow I’m still here and baring it all.

Where I come from, I was taught that there was an unwritten code of Conduct — a fine print — if you will. I thought that everyone had a conscience and in the 11th hour, would do what is right. I was wrong and I have suffered greatly mentally from that realization. Integrity evades many people. Hmmmmmmmm, wonder who she’s talking about if she’s even talking about somone in particular. If we had to guess though, the alleged “integrity lacker” might be Monique who Candiace will have that violent Cabernet combat with at a winery later in the show.

Their faceoff was teased throughout the episode and will reportedly be shown for the midseason finale.
