C-Murder Thanks Kim K. For Advocating For A New Trial
Kim Kardashian Says Corey ‘C-Murder’ Miller ‘Deserves A Day In Court’ After Life Sentence For ‘Mishandled’ Case
C-Murder Extends His Gratitude For Kim Kardashian’s Advocacy On His Behalf
Kim concluded by proclaiming he deserves another “day in court,” stating the judge should grant him a new trial.
“Louisiana recently enacted a new law that provides innocent people with the ability to raise a post-conviction claim of factual innocence. Mr. Miller has raised such a claim and, like all of his prior post-conviction filings, has been denied relief without even so much as an evidentiary hearing,” Kardashian expressed. “In light of the fact that the only witnesses have completely recanted their testimony, there is absolutely no remaining evidence against Mr. Miller,” she restated.
The TV personality implored her fans to support her advocacy of C-Murder if they felt compelled.
“Corey Miller deserves a day in court to test the veracity of the recanted statements and to prove that he did not shoot Steve Thomas. If you agree that Corey Miller deserves his day in court please repost this.”
In response, C-Murder’s Instagram account thanked Kim for her support.
“It’s been a fight, and long journey for Justice. Thank you @kimkardashian and EVERYONE involved over the years (praying, advocating and believing) in my innocence,” he wrote on Thursday.
This isn’t the first time the make-up mogul has come to C-Murder’s defense. In August 2020, the second oldest Kardashian took to social media to tweet about Calliope kid’s case.
She wrote, “the jury convicted Corey 10-2 and he was sentenced him to life in prison. If his trial was today, the jury would have had to be unanimous for him to be convicted.”
“True justice for the young man requires that the person who actually killed him be held responsible and that Corey Miller he returned home to his kids.”
Kim ended the series of tweets, “My heart goes out to the family of Steve Thomas. I can only imagine how hard this is and my intention is never to open up this painful wound but to help find the truth behind this tragedy.
Do you think Kim’s support will help C-Murder’s release from prison or hinder the outcome?
