Keri Hilson smiled for a close-up at Spring Bling recently.- and this particular pop starlet must be giddy than a mutha behind her latest achievement:
Chart-topping singer/songwriter Keri Hilson rocked the charts at Billboard with the debut album “In A Perfect World” this week. Hilson’s long anticipated album became the week’s top R&B/Hip Hop debut thanks to sales of 94,000 copies, besting that of Jim Jones’ new album “Pray IV Reign”.
“In A Perfect World,” led by the singles “Turnin’ Me On,” “Energy” and “Knock You Down,” boasts collaborations with Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Polow Da Don, Keyshia Cole and Trina placing it at no.4 on this week’s Billboard 200. Jim Jones’ “Pray IV Reign” follows at no. 9 with 43,000 copies moved.
Other albums debuting on the chart this week, including “The Rose Experience” from Hip Hop/Soul crooner Case, debuted beneath the top 20 according to Nielsen Soundscan.
