No tricks, all treats!
We’re back with our annual collection of Halloween hotties who slayyyed in sexy costumes during the Spooky SZN spectacle that continues to reign as one of social media’s biggest events.
This year, Latto, Chlöe Bailey, Angel Reese, Bernice Burgos, La La Anthony, and more came out to play with Megan Thee Stallion looking pretty in purple at the pre-Hottieween premiere for her Documentary now streaming on Prime Video.
The film gives fans a behind-the-scenes look into Megan’s rise to fame, going all the way back to her 2019 breakout hit “Big Ole Freak” while offering new insight into the media frenzy surrounding the Tory Lanez shooting.
Check out the trailer below:
Surrounded by love and support, the Grammy-winning hitmaker thanked her fanbase of “Hotties” for always standing beside her and showed love to her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete, Jr., insisting she would never be the woman she is today without her mom, who died from cancer in 2019.
“[There’s] so many people up in here,” she said, per PEOPLE. “It is blowing my mind how many Hotties are up here right now… Goddamn, I can’t believe I started crying.”
“I want to thank each and every one of you for coming to the premiere of my documentary,” she continued. “Your support means the world to me. And this process has been years in the making.”
Megan went on to note that despite her mother always telling her “not to tell my own business” she did it anyway since this was the “perfect opportunity.”
“I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without Holly Thomas,” she said. “So mommy, I love you.”
“To have somebody follow you around all day, every day, and recording your most intimate moments, even when you don’t want them to, has been such an insane experience,” she said about making the doc, adding that director Nneka Onuorah would pull out her phone when she would tell her to “cut the cameras.”
Meg thanked the filmmaker for keeping the documentary true to her own story, saying it’s helped to show who she is both as a person and an artist.
“I started to watch a lot of people dehumanize me and a lot of people were trying to take control of my narrative and tell my story, so that’s why I even agreed to do the documentary in the first place,” she explained. “I was like, ‘You know what, b***h? Let me just go ahead and tell my truth and lay it out on the table because y’all don’t respect s*** else, but raw and honesty.”
