Gatecrasher is reporting that Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife and Michael Strahan’s new chick Nicole was getting real close to Lisa Raye’s husband Michael Misick at recent events. Via NY Daily News:

Misick and Murphy were thisclose at the opening of the Mediterranean Village at Sandals’ Grande Antigua resort and Mrs. Misick did not attend. Our spies say the premier’s bodyguard made sure there were no photos taken of the two. And he did a great job: neither WireImage, the event’s official photographer, nor Access Hollywood, who did a segment on the launch, mentioned either of them being there. But other guests said the pair seemed especially chummy on Friday, Oct. 5, during a party at the Cricketer’s Arms, a pub on the property. And some folks started whispering when friendly kisses were exchanged.

“It’s funny – if you didn’t know better, you would have thought they were together.”

He probably was lured in by all the fake breasts Nicole had hanging out at Lisa Raye’s 40th birthday party. It’s a damn shame what veiny ass cheek cleavage can do to a marriage.

Terry McMillan discusses details of her troubled marriage with gay ex-husband Jonathan Plummer in an upcoming article with the urban gay publication UNEQ Magazine. Here is a statement that she made to reveal why she’s “coming out” with the dirt now:

Kanye West and fiancée Alexis Phifer hit up the Louis Vuitton Gala Celebrating the Murakami Exhibition in LA. Yeah, we’re feelin their out of the box swag and they are definitely a fly couple, but we are not so much feelin the white shoes Ye’s boo is rockin. Not because they’re white and it’s after labor day (that rule is dated), but just because they are ugly.

Ciara continues her 22nd birthday celebration tour at the Velvet Room in Atlanta. Her parents were there (and no her mom is not Wanda Sykes) so that shows just how much fun that party was.

Her party in New York City, which was on Thursday was probably a better time with “friend” Missy Elliot keeping the shot glasses full and chicken wings on hand. She also presented Ciara with a huge diamond necklace as a birthday gift. Damn, she must be a good ass “friend” with 50 Cent giving out good gifts and now Missy.

Oprah expresses her apology for the allegations of abuse and mistreatment going on at her girls’ school in South Africa:

“I’ve disappointed you. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry,” the talk show queen told families in an emergency meeting at the South African school in Henley-on-Klip, south of Johannesburg. Oprah canceled appointments and flew to South Africa twice in the past few weeks after allegations that one of the matrons fondled a girl and that other pupils had been physically abused. One pupil has said a matron grabbed her by the throat and threw her against a wall. Girls have also said the “dorm parent” swore and screamed at them, assaulted them and sexually fondled at least one girl. Continue »

Little Diana Ross, Evan Ross, and Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day were spotted together all weekend in NYC. Aubrey hosted a Halloween party last night and made a solo performance at Plumm on Saturday. We don’t know whether they were sharing make-up tips or really messin’ around.

Aubrey may think little Diana is going to help her “acting” career. Dumb broad, her parents didn’t teach her anything about high expectations. As for little Diana, Aubrey’s mouth is probably still tasting like Diddy.

He just may like that.

Jive Records has dropped Kelis and she is looking for a new record label. Her manager explained her drop to EW:

It was a case of being in the ever-shrinking world of the record industry and finding herself on a label she wasn’t signed to and without a champion,” says Kelis’ manager, Jeff Rabhan. “She’s a different kind of artist — very image and style-driven. It’s either something you get or you don’t.”

Is he trying to blame the label? It’s always the label’s fault, ask old-man LL.

Diddy has been sportin’ Cassie around the country and it is only a matter of time before these two come out as a certified couple. Rumors have the new couple together at an American Gangster video shoot Friday and at a Howard University homecoming event over the weekend.
