Halloween 2024 is already off to a scary good start with super creative, wildly nostalgic, and head-spinningly hilarious costumes from and many more who understood this year’s assignment.
So far, we’ve seen some eye-catching costumes from celebs and regular-shmegulars across social media who went ALL OUT with their viral looks.

At the very moment, Janelle Monáe‘s E.T. appears to be winning Halloween followed closely by M. Night Shyamalan’s Joker from the The Dark Knight, Ice Spice‘s Leeloo from The Fifth Element, and Megan Thee Stallion‘s Starfire (from the Teen Titans) that caught the eye of DC Studios head James Gunn.
This comes as the “Bigger Than Texas” rapper is gearing up for the release of her feature documentary Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Own Words premiering Oct. 31 on Prime Video.
The buzzy Doc “follows the Houston native’s journey on the road to stardom as she tenaciously navigates fame, grief, pressure and success,” per the official synopsis.

“I really didn’t want to do it at first because I was so in a dark place and I didn’t want anybody to see me,” she admitted in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. “I didn’t want anybody to hear from me. I didn’t want anybody to talk to me. I was just not happy. I couldn’t even pull myself out of bed half the time. I didn’t want anybody to see me like that because usually people see me as such a strong woman… but then I just really got tired of seeing other people tell my story and I knew that I had to take control.”
With Halloween tomorrow, we’re sure to see more mind-blowing costumes from previous Spooky SZN MVPs Cardi B, The Weekend, Tabria Majors (with another EPIC tribute?), Heidi Klum, Teyana Taylor, and possibly Beyoncé (who usually drops her costume years weeks later).
