As BOSSIP previously reported, Reed ended 2024 with a new account dedicated to putting the NBA champ on blast. She launched the “I Had A Baby By Superman” page with a 9-part exposé alleging “deadbeat” deeds, threats, and physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Howard went the “too blessed to be stressed” route. He only responded to The Shade Room by wishing his ex the best and flaunting his love with LHHATL‘s Amy Luciani.

Dwight Howard Threatens Royce Reed With Legal Actions In ‘Baby By Superman’ Series Cease & Desist

When Reed doubled down on the dragging, she received a cease and desist letter threatening legal action. It stated that she fabricated stories about Howard and continued “escalating statements and potentially defamatory statements.” Reed has a Jan. 7 deadline to remove the “I Had A Baby By Superman” series and all other allegations from public platforms.

If she doesn’t comply, the letter states the Basketball Wives alum could face some serious legal action. Instead of backing down from the legal fight, Reed, took this to social media, too. In addition to posting the letter from  Adam Gleklen of Gleklen Law Firm, she touted it as proof of her claims that Howard also intimidates her in court. The caption ended with a shady sub at an unknown someone (whose name may or may not rhyme), calling them a “COWaaaarrrrrrddd!”

“Welp! We knew this was coming. I guess it’s too many ppl on my side now… Ants just crawling up that leg… #bitebybite,” she wrote with crying laughing emojis. “#ceaseanddesist WHAT MOOOORE DO YOU WAAAAANNNNTTTT FROM MEEEEE?! I guess you’re going to send the whole world a cease and desist huh?” she wrote.

Clearly, the threat of a lawsuit isn’t shutting down or shutting up Reed, even if she can’t afford to fight Howard in court.

Check out the shocking revelations in Royce Reed’s legal fees fundraiser and Dwight Howard’s unbothered baecation with his fiancée Amy Luciani.

Royce Reed still has zero chill going into the new year, and she’s preparing to keep that same energy, even if it costs her. Considering claims of career sabotage and struggling to raise their son without Howard’s help, she can’t go dollar for dollar with a possible lawsuit. So she turned to social media with a fundraiser to afford the looming legal battle.

The GoFundMe for $10,000 claims Reed suffered 17 years of “harassment, threats, defamation and career loss.” She admitted to living with “depression” and contemplating “taking a full bottle of sleeping pills or running off an overpass.” Yet she claims the alleged torment didn’t stop with her.

“After this man took everything from us (my savings, my mother’s savings and my dignity) he still proceeded to harass and belittle me. Most recently he spoke to our son on PlayStation party and degraded me (his mother) so bad to the point our son went off. I have worked since I was 16! But the bills I’ve accumulated dealing with this man are insurmountable. That’s where my courage came from. That’s why I chose to speak. But also because there’s a new agreement. I am now being threatened with yet ANOTHER LAWSUIT because they want to take away my voice again and silence me,” she wrote.

The campaign requests help with her mortgage, bills, and legal expenses. Despite openly addressing issues with her ex for the past decade she admitted it was hard to ask for help. “This is embarrassing, but it’s my life,” she wrote.

Dwight Howard Is Living His Best Life With Amy Luciani Amid Brewing Legal Battle

Meanwhile, Howard hasn’t addressed his ex directly since sending the cease and desist. Instead, the seemingly unbothered baller is busy enjoying his engagement overseas with Luciani in Thailand. He captioned the post wishing everyone smiles, happiness, success, and love.

The former Lakers star shared a blissed-out Phuket photo dump of exploring ocean caves and swimming with elephants.

In another post, the animal adventures continued with lions, tigers, and massive snakes.

We’ll see how Howard’s good vibes vision for 2025 applies to Reed if she doesn’t comply with that cease and desist letter.

This week in politics, the vibes are messy, alarming, and straight-up confusing. From late night TV being snatched off the air to vaccine policies getting hijacked, it’s giving “WTF is going on?” Let’s break down the headlines everyone’s talking about inside. First Amendment on the Chopping Block Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show has been pulled from ABC, and Stephen Colbert’s show? Cancelled completely. The official line is murky, but the bigger picture is loud. Free speech is being tested under the Trump administration. While Trump once said he’d “honor” the First Amendment, recent moves suggest he’s working off a remix version that only benefits him. Case in point? The Guardian reports his $15 billion lawsuit against The New York Times. A judge already tossed it out, saying Trump’s claims about “false content” violated federal rules. Still, the fact that these lawsuits and cancellations keep happening has people questioning the future of free expression in America. CDC Shake-Up Sparks Health Concerns Meanwhile, over at the CDC, things are getting political fast. Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has basically turned the agency upside down, firing all 17 members of the vaccine advisory committee and replacing them with appointees that include vaccine skeptics. On top of that, the CDC director is out, high-level staffers are resigning, and decisions about vaccine safety are suddenly more about politics than science. Public health leaders are calling this move dangerous, saying it dismantles independent oversight just when Americans need clarity most. According to California’s government website, they are one of the few states pushing back on the federal government’s stance. California, Washington, and Hawaii aren’t taking it lying down. The states have formed an alliance pushing back on the feds, promising to keep vaccine guidance rooted in science, safety, and transparency. Their health officers are reviewing guidelines from trusted medical groups like the AAP and ACOG to ensure communities still have access to clinically recommended vaccines. Trump & Xi Meet About US TikTok’s Next Chapter And then there’s TikTok. After years of “will they, won’t they?” drama, Trump announced that he and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping approved a deal for TikTok’s U.S. operations. According to BBC, the plan reportedly hands control to a group of U.S. investors, sidestepping a shutdown. Trump called the call with Xi “productive” on Truth Social, and even, teased a face-to-face meetup at the APEC summit in South Korea this fall. From free speech battles to vaccine wars and TikTok drama, this week in politics has us all asking the same thing: WTFGO?
