Naomi Campbell was hospitalized in Brazil and is being treated by an infectious disease specialist and gynecologist:

Naomi Campbell was admitted to hospital … to have a small cyst removed. Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her. The patient and her advisers have determined that the hospital’s medical staff will not issue any formal or informal information on her medical condition.”

We hope Naomi is OK, those “infectious diseases” are nothing to play with…especially in Brazil.

Naomi Campbell explained her woes for the lack of blacks in the world of fashion at the Blacks in Fashion Panel Discussion Friday in NYC:

“I’ve never been on the cover of British Vogue and I’ve asked a million times and they’ve always refused me. They’ll put the same white model for half the year — I swear like six times, but wouldn’t put me on once in my own country. But I still want my British Vogue cover!”

Although there is indeed a need for more black models working in the fashion industry, this sure looks like a British Vogue cover to us, this b*tch must be crazy (See photo above)…

The world’s top modeling agency has launched a search for the”next big thing” on the catwalk. They are even looking in the hood near Paris, France. Duh, go to the place where you found the hottest chick in the game:

In a recent phone interview with NY Daily News she discusses her future:

I want children, but it’ll happen when God decides,” she said.

“I don’t need a rich guy – I have money,” she said. “I like creative guys who know what they like doing and focus on their passion.”

She also admits that the once cheeky and abrasive Naomi has been mollified by anger management classes and yoga. Good for you, Ms. Campbell!!

TMZ has learned that supermodel Naomi Campbell has plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge that she threw a BlackBerry at her maid last March. Campbell’s lawyer was unsuccessful in November in cutting a deal with the District Attorney’s office last year. Naomi was arrested in March 2006 after Scolavino claimed she was the target of the supermodel’s flying BlackBerry over an allegedly stolen pair of jeans.

Naomi you know you were supposed to beat her ass for stealing your $200 jeans. Forget the coke rehab, Naomi probably needs some “mental help” for that “interruption”.
