Peep T Pain’s new album cover – set to drop Sept. 30th. We see what they’re trying to do here – but we’re just not quite feeling it.

In a recent interview, T-Pain recalls the time he had his chain snatched:

T-Pain: There’s one [song] called “Havoc.” It’s a true story about when I got my chain snatched in New York the night before my first album dropped. Somebody snuck a gun in the club and stuck it in my stomach, but I wasn’t going to give my chain up — it was my first chain. He pushed me back and as I was fallin’ he snatched the chain and ran out the club. It was pretty weird. It’s such an in-depth story, it’s like a 5 minute song.

Blender.com: Did you find the chain on eBay?

T-Pain: Nah. We found it, though. He stole it to sell back to me … but I didn’t buy it back.

Blender.com: Is that guy still alive?

T-Pain: [ominously] No, he’s not alive.

That sounds awfully suspect. Is buddy boy confessing or just plain perpetratin’? Hmmm.

Universal Records, who owns DefJam and Interscope (No Cents), will have a nice come-up on the manufactured beef.

Kanye West recently discussed which websites he checks out said “I Go to Bossip”.

T-Pain’s Epiphany owned R. Kelly and Rihanna on the Billboard chart this week. Yes, “T-Pain” has the #1 album in the country. R. Kelly and Rihanna shouldn’t feel too bad, a former Beatle was also bested. Maybe T-Pain can get a date with Ray-J now.

“You can’t hate Britney Spears because you know what, no matter what Britney Spears been doing, she’s still on TV.”
